Creating space for clarity, trust, and self-awareness, from the inside out.

🌿 About Me

Hi, I’m Janette — though in this space, I go by Janetteji, a name shared with warmth and respect within the practice.I guide others through yoga, breathwork, and Human Design, while continuing to walk my own path of transformation. My journey began during a long battle with a chronic illness. It was through the breath and movement of yoga that I began to heal. Alongside this, Ayurveda became an anchor in my recovery, and Human Design helped me recognize the conditioning that had shaped my life — and return to who I really am.I’ve completed 430 hours of yoga teacher training, including vinyasa, rocket, and a deep immersion in kriyas, breathwork, and meditation. My time in India brought it all together — it’s where I experienced the quiet power of inner wisdom through these practices. In addition, I've completed 100 hours of training in Human Design which has deepening my personal practice and embodiment of the system since 2019.Outside the studio, I bring 25+ years of experience in finance, helping entrepreneurs build clarity and confidence in their businesses. I’m also a published author, using writing as another way to explore transformation — in both work and life.My classes are a space to return to your rhythm — through movement, breath, and energetic awareness.Whether you join me for a class, a series, or a single breath, you’re welcome just as you are.Namaste,
Janetteji

Classes

These classes combine yoga, breathwork, and Human Design to help you reconnect with your body, your breath, and your natural rhythm. Each session is inspired by the current energetic themes we’re all moving through. You’ll move gently, breathe with intention, and have space to ground, release, and return to yourself. There’s no pressure to perform — just an invitation to show up as you are.

Return to Center Circles

This space is created to be guided by the current Human Design (HD) transits, using breath, movement, and reflection to help you connect with the energy of the moment. Each session is centered around a specific gate or theme we’re collectively moving through. We begin with a short explanation of the energy, followed by breathwork and grounding movement to help you process and integrate it.No prior knowledge of Human Design is needed — just bring your breath, your body, and your curiosity.

FAQs

Is this beginner friendly?
Yes. All levels are welcome — whether you’re new to the practice or returning to your mat after time away.
Do I need to know Human Design?
Not at all. Human Design is gently woven in to support the energy of the practice, but no prior knowledge is needed.
What if I can’t stay for the full class?
Come and go as you need. This space is here to support you — even just a few minutes of breath and movement can shift your energy.
Can I join if I’ve never done yoga before?
Absolutely. The movements are simple, intuitive, and guided with care. You’re welcome to move at your own pace.
What is a kriya? And what type of breathwork is practiced?
A kriya is a set sequence of breath, movement, and focus designed to shift energy, clear blocks, or awaken specific states of awareness. In class, we use simple yet powerful breath techniques such as Breath of Fire, O-shape breath, alternate nostril breathing, and breath retention with bandhas (energy locks). Everything is guided step by step — no experience needed, just a willingness to breathe and feel.

My "India"

India was a turning point in my life — not because I became someone new, but because I finally saw myself clearly.
And what I saw, I couldn’t unsee.
Through breath, kriyas, and the quiet rhythm of sadhana — a daily practice of meeting myself — I began to slow down. I stopped hiding. I began showing up honestly, even when it felt uncomfortable. And in that honesty, something shifted. I started teaching people how to meet me, how to show up for me, and how I would show up for myself. In the chaos of Rishikesh, I found stillness.
In the Himalayas, I learned to move one step at a time — to be patient, present, and steady. That hike became a metaphor I carry with me: not going back just because it’s comfortable, not rushing forward out of fear, just continuing on — breath by breath.
And in the presence of sangha — community — I found something I didn’t know I was missing. I had been on a journey for so long without realizing I was craving shared space, shared practice, and shared rhythm. In India, I was reminded that I don’t have to do it alone.Since returning, I’ve come to realize that “India” is no longer just a place I visited — it’s something I carry within me.My “India” is what keeps me grounded.
It’s the space where I feel centered, inspired, and connected to myself.
It’s not about striving to get more — it’s about learning to be more:
More present. More kind. More forgiving. More at peace.
It reminds me to shed the layers of busyness, the need for validation, and the illusion of control.
It asks me to pause and ask:
What’s truly important? Why am I saying yes to this? Does this align with who I am and what I value?
My India lives in the small rituals — in the sound of a ganga aarti song that brings me back to the river, in the mantras that plays as I breathe and sit in stillness, in the comfort of a sweater I wore daily in India, or the presence of Ganesha on my altar. These touchstones remind me that I can always come back to center. That I can access this version of me — the one who is steady and soft — wherever I am.And so in my daily practice, I sit and ask:Can I stay with this before moving on to the next thing?
Can I show up without needing a plan or permission?
Can I be patient, like the mountains, and steady like my breath?
This is what keeps me grounded.
This is what I return to.
This is my "India."
